Service Crew

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests, according to company standards in a timely, friendly and efficient manner

• Serve all guests by taking their menu orders, recommending menu selections as needed

• Establish a great rapport with our guests so that they look forward to their next visit to Alleybar

• Ensure absolute knowledge of all menus and ongoing restaurant promotions, including any special offers

• Pick up food orders from kitchen and communicate to the chef regarding any special preferences or allergies

• Accurately process and collect payments from guests within an acceptable timeframe

• Efficiently turnover the departed tables and ensure presentability for the next guest

• Complete closing duties, including storing all reusable good, breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment and areas

• Always take responsibility for ensuring a positive guest experience
• Attend daily briefings from management on any special service requirements

• Perform any other assigned reasonable duties and responsibilities as requested by Supervisors or Managers
 

Bartenders

• Make recommendations and answer all related enquiries
• Check identification to ensure customers are of legal age to purchase alcohol
• Take drink orders from service staff or directly from customers
• Inform customers about new beverage and special promotions
• Select and mix ingredients, peel, slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks
• Regularly monitor inventory and alert when the team needs to look into the inventory status
• Comply with all health, safety and hygiene standards and policies
• Maintain a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning the bar counter, washing glasses, utensils and equipment
• Ability to handle minor complaints without assistance

 

Guest Relations Host

• Welcome customers into our bar

• Ensure that reservations are clear and tables are ready
• Take note of number of customers and reservations
• As the face of the bar, you will need to provide the utmost warmth and hospitality to all guests
• Inform customers about promotions that we currently having and promote the food and beverages

• Assist with adhoc tasks as assigned

 

Cook/Commis

Ensure all food and other items are stored properly at appropriate temperatures
• Handle multiple food orders at one time
• Assist other cooks in the preparation of food and help other team members when needed
• Prepare food before the arrival of guests for special arrangements/reservations
• Operate various kitchen appliances such as blenders, oven, grill or stand mixer
• Clean food preparation areas and maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen
• Prepare ingredients during shift; washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc.

• All utensils to be sanitised at the end of shift
